Quick questions, I fond two addresses for my MP: CONSTITUENCY ADDRESS and PARLIAMENTARY ADDRESS

What are you trying to find out about your VO?

Also, I would recommend you go to the office or at the very least call as opposed to sending an email.

My husbands cousins is the Minister of Defence in Peru, he said he would inquiere about the status of our application at the embassy for us

I just received a request for my husband to go to an interview in Warsaw in a month. He's here with me now, will have to fly back to Poland. Needless to say he's freaking out. Assuming this is the last step, and as long as the interview goes well, all should be fine. Anyone have any experience with this? Can we quit worrying and hope that it will be a quick interview with the results that day? He is really nervous....me too. Any suggestions most appreciated....

I think that after the interview they will give you CoPR right away.

Any reason why you think they may have asked you for an interview? May be worth ordering your notes just to find out why so you can approach the interview fully informed and prepared.

Warsaw has been known for doing this - it is not uncommon; nor should one worry about it. Think of it as a formality.

That was my thoughts as well. However, it seems the PA was only given a month until the interview date. The notes could come either very close to the day, on the day of, or after the interview.

Hi folks! Just wanted to update you that I finally received my CoPR. It took exactly two weeks from DM to receiving CoPR--I was starting to get worried because I'm already in Canada, so the mail shouldn't take that long. I guess they didn't post it until a few days after DM.

Landing at the U.S. border crossing was surprisingly easy... I came prepared with lots of documentation, but they didn't ask for anything besides the CoPR and my U.S. passport. They just had me sign a few things, congratulated me, took my picture next to the Queen's portrait and the Canadian flag, and sent me on my way.

Glad to see lots of other February people are getting DM this week!

That's good to know, we are trying to look at is as a positive. I thought about ordering the notes, but there's no way I'd get them back in time. I'm assuming that the point of the interview is to determine that the relationship is genuine, as in the email they asked about more pictures, proof of cohabitation etc etc. Kinda hard to prove that when my husband can't work yet, can't contribute to the bills etc. So his name is not on mortgage, car etc. All we have is a joint bank account. Not at all worried about the genuine relationship part, but the red flag in our case is that we only got married last October, and have been together about a year. So that's probably why they want the interview.

At least they gave us a month for him to get back there for the interview and not three days. So yes, we are trying to look at it as a formality only. But who knows. Hopefully they do give copr on the same day after the interview....its definitely going to be a month of stress, however at least they are moving on it quickly. We submitted Feb 23rd, so if they do give COPR in June, that will be less than 4 months, start to finish.
