Hi Everyone!
My husband and I are just about to send in our application.
Is it possible to still choose which Visa Office to send the second part of the application to? if so... where would one indicate that?

You need to send the whole application, both Principal Applicant and Sponsorship Application to the Mississauga address that JJ628 has listed. They will approve the Sponsorship part and then forward the Principal Applicant part to the Visa Office.

Yes, my two colleagues applied for their wives to come. both wives came last year and the whole process from application to getting passport is only 6 to 7 months. One wife is from India and another one from Hong Kong.

But i was told by others on this site that it is different now, and it will take much longer. Hopefully it is not true. Just keep our fingers crossed.

What other part of the application are you going to send to the another office though?

My husband sent ours to the office for outland applications which is:
Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

Hey, thanks for the reply. I am sending the whole package to Missisauga, but once I get SA, CIC would send it to the visa office closest to us right? We are currently living in Germany, but my husband is an Italian citizen... so just hoping it gets sent to Vienna. I was just wondering in case we get a choice in the matter...

Yeah send all your package to Missisauga, I believe that once they open your case they'll send it to your nearest visa office, from there on you'll send everything to them to that visa office.

So our Representative finally decided to submit our application.
It was received this morning by CIC and signed by E.EQRA in the Mailroom.
I've also updated the Spreadsheet.

God how I loe this sitting around and waiting game :-X

Do you guys know how do you receive the AOR1? Is it to your sponsor's address or to his/her email or to yours?

The Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) is sent to the Sponsor. If your sponsor wrote down their email address on the application , then AOR will be sent via email. If no email is provided, it will be sent via regular mail. Note that some members have received AOR even when they wrote their email address on the application. Hope that helps

However, after reviewing many posts on this website, I have found some problems in my application. Firstly, my form IMM0008 is version 4-2015, not the latest version 11-2015. Secondly, some forms (IMM 5540,IMM5669) should be partially updated. So, what should I do?please help me, thanks.

There's not much you can do. You will likely just have to wait and see if they send it back over this. You can try and send updated forms, with your information on it and an explanation. If you already have a UCI number from past visa or visitor record this would help.

Hmm, I just did a run through of version 11-2015. It's exactly the same as version 4-2015 - am I missing anything?

After reading that some people sent in the old form (04-2015) - I checked to see which version I sent in and found that this was the one I submitted.

Found the latest one (11-2015), and I just finished filling it out. It was the exact same thing as 04-2015... You are not the only one to have noticed this.

I really hope that my application is not returned simply because of this one form.
