Our application was received 27 Feb 2015.

I wrote my email in the application. We haven't received any AOR or SA yet.

This wait is the worst, don't even know if application is there or not.

The agent said, "62 days is an average number. wait until the processing date has passed and give it 2 more weeks for mail to be delivered"

They didnt check in their system. This is so crazy, CIC should send aaplication received notification.

I have submitted an inquiry. Not sure if I was supposed to wait until the processing date has passed 27Feb. I just submitted it bc it has been 63 days now.

Yay - progress on our end!!

My hubby just got an email from CIC (I didn't get anything) saying:

Your application is now ready for finalization. (Whatever that means? Is that DM?) And then...

YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE FINALIZED BY THE CASE-PROCESSING CENTRE – OTTAWA (“CPC-O”).

He's been asked to submit (MORE) passport pictures, and a(NOTHER) copy of his passport photo page for his Permanent Residency card. I find this hilarious because he already sent in EIGHT passport pictures with the application, and at least one copy of his passport. Oh, and also, there is this rather strange request:

On a separate piece of paper, please provide the following information:
- Height (you/your spouse/common-law partner)
- Eye Colour (you/your spouse/common-law partner)


Overall, I'm excited!! I think this means we're nearly at the end of this marathon!

Call CIC on Monday to inquire about it. From which country are you sponsoring your spouse?

From Venezuela, but Mexico is in charge... I will call on Monday

np231, try calling again. be persistent. eventually they will have to agree to look up your file. it took us multiple attempts to find out anything.
all this "working on Feb 25th apps" is a joke. guys who applied in March & April are getting their AOR and SA in 30 to 40 days

It says Decision Made!!!

AOR: 15Apr2015 (no communication from CIC)
Decision Made: 29Apr2015 (no communication from CIC)

Still, you can call them to ask for your e-mail SA, to see if your file was transfered to NDVO ou kept held in Mississauga.

I am so relieved!!

Congrats.. You should get your SA email shortly within a week and your file will be transferred to NDVO (all Indian national's files are transferred)
after which you will get the AOR2 (though some people dont but most do) then you are in queue.

Hey i am also trying to put my PR card number to log in. I hope sooner or later that work for me. I didnt receive an AOR. How long it takes you to get access through PR card?

Hey I never really tried before today but It was showing all the details after 62 days of submitting application. Decision was made after 14 days of AOR. The ecas was updated after 3 days of decision made.

CIC received our application: Feb 2
1st AOR: March 28th
SA approval: April 21st
2nd AOR: May 03rd

Just checked ECAS this morning, and found Decision Made for my hubby's application. I guess that request for his passport pictures is his letter??

If all goes well, he just might have a fancy shmancy Permanent Resident card in a week or so!!

Soooo relieved. Can't wait for him to be covered by OHIP.

Does everybody receive the SA?

Around 98-99% of people receive a SA after having a DM. However, the numbers are skewed by "voluntary withdrawals". Basically, if you submit a complete package and met the basic sponsorship criteria, then you will eventually get your SA.
