February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

after 11 months later its shows my application in process.
Does anyone knows how long do i have to wait for ppr email?

Can you call CIC and check what they tell you on phone now - since it shows Decision made?

Thanks for sharing this information. My Ecas still shows Medical Received but below is my timeline.

Nov 2013 - Received approved AINP nomination
Feb 2014 - PR application received by CIC
March 2014 - Medicals completed & RPRF payment
June 2014 - Email confirmation from CIO that medical and RPPF fee are received
Oct 2014 - Email advise from CIO that file is awaiting review by an officer
Dec 2014 - Email advise from CIO that file is still under review

My current work permit expires in May and I have submitted an online application for a BOWP yesterday.

I called CIC yesterday to seek advise on the 12-month old medical and was told that if I don't receive a request for re-medical, that means they are working out for an extension. I was told my file is still in process.

This is all way beyond our control. I know it's difficult but just as we are sure we are doing our part to maintain a legal status, God will keep us sane during our waiting time.

Mmm i'll wait for an email - if nothing comes till Friday then i'll sure call - but how weird it is...I called CIC yesterday and was told my file was in Process and still in NS - I already decided that nothing will happen this week for sure ;D

Same thing with me, I was told my file is still in Sydney, NS at the time I called CIC.

They confirmed that my case was approved on March 26, and was currently with Ottawa who would send out a snail-mail letter to me.
She could not see if a letter has been sent out, and said she saw no evidence on the system that anything had been sent.
Her immediate reaction was "huh, I can't see any outward communication?"

I am from a visa exempt country and was told "most of the time, you'll get a COPR" although "sometimes PPR is required, and I can't guarantee which will be the case as that is something Ottawa deal with".

It's great news and also no-news for me! Just the last part of the waiting game.

Congratulations! I'm from Germany, so visa exempt country too and still got PPR and had to send in copy of passport and photos! Just thought I'd let you know Good luck!

Good to know. I have a few questions:
-How long did it take from Decision Made on Ecas, to PPR?
-Did PPR come by email or snail mail?
-How long did it take for passport to be returned?

I got DM around March 3rd (I didnt check everyday, too frustrating) and PPR March 4th.
PPR came by email.
I sent off my documents March 5th and got them back March 19th

Hey february 2014 applicants any news yet? I remember i called cic 2 weeks ago. Said medical was extended,final decision on pr and it was approved already..but until now its still in process on ECAS.. patiently waiting on our ppr. Its really frustrating.. Hope to have approve application for us all.

I dont know if I should believe the CIC agents.

I called yesterday and the agent couldnt tell me anything about my application and also said my application is in Sydney (NS). How is that possible when 2 previous agents have told me its in Ottawa.

I called cic and the agent told me that my file has transferred to ottawa and it will take another 17 months from ottawa. I am kind of very confused it already 14 months since i submitted my application to Nova scotia.
Has anyone been thru the same situation?? ???
