What does that reflect if the file is still in Nova Scotia? is it showing that process is gonna take few more months ? how long it takes after the file transfers to Ottawa?

Just checked my ECAS and my application is finally showing to be in Process on March 5.
I am a Feb. 27 applicant.

I am hoping all the Feb applicants get PPR this month...as our Medicals will expire in a month or so.

I am Feb 7 Applicant - in process ...got my GCMS notes yesterday - Immigration officer note dated 3 Feb 2015 on file says - File Approved and RFV ( I am assuming this is Request for Visa).
However, i have not got anything yet and its been a month since then...No DM/PPR

Hello guys, so I already sent a copy of my passport and 2 pictures on feb 18th. My package was received by cic on the 19th and I'm still waiting for my return tracker to be activated. Is there anyone else in the same or similar situation as me?? Or anyone whose package was received by cic after the 19th and already got his tracker activated??

I'm in the same boat. Package was received on the 23rd Feb. If current processing times is 22 days, it shouldn't be long now. Fingers crossed I hope!

where did you get the information that the processing time between them receiving the passport and issuing the COPR back is 22 day?

My package was received on February 25, the return tracker hasn't been activated yet...

Hi Everyone,

I have been a silent member of this forum for a long time now, just wanted to share my timeline:
Application received:march 28, 2014;
medicals: april 25
landing fees:may 26;
In Process: sep25;
Decision made: feb 06, 2015;
PPR: feb 13,
PP received at ottawa:feb 18
return tracker activated:mar 02
passport received back: march 04;
landed: march 04;

I sent an email and called CIC after i got decision made and they told me my file is still in nova scotia, but the very same day, i got the passport request from ottawa. so, i really dont know how it works but i sincerely hope all of you guys get yours soon. thanks a lot for sharing your cases in this forum.

Thanks for sharing, nothin2012, it's good to know that it takes about 2 weeks to get the passport back. Did they put something into passport? What else did you receive in the package? Thanks!

Yep, same here.
I called call center twice already and I know it will not help, but still would like officers to know that we are far behind regular timeline.

Guys, just letting you know I just checked my eCas and it shows "In process" (We started processing your application on March 5, 2015.) , may 14th applicant here. Things are moving

Your agent is absolutely correct. This is what you have to do. I also emailed ottawa for my spouse's visa stamping in India. Did your agent say anything about if you should wait to send your own passport before ottawa replies you or is the agent sending your passport to Ottawa now?
Please keep me posted on the visa stamping part.

Hii, I was wondering did you send your passport first when you email them for your spouse or you waited them to reply to your email.
And if you posted before cic replied did you got your passport back... :'(... am too confused... Thank you once again...
