good news is that i got DM today morning .....

file received : 10th feb
in process : 18th august
DM : 28th january
PPR : still wait


I waited a longs guys and i am sure tht have to wait more as PPR gonna take may be couple weeks from now .....

Dude, you got DM so no worries..1-2 weeks PPR coming ..

It takes about 3 weeks to get it back from the day CIC receives it, as per the experiences of my friends that have already gotten theirs.

any idea guys that how many days it will take for PPR after DM ?
as i am now totally frustrated by waiting ,, waiting and still waiting .. i have few friends have same situation and they are waiting for their PPR from nearly 3 weeks now after DM

Hey guys, something weird going on over here. My spouse received a letter from the CRA International Office regarding "Correspondence received on October 10, 2014". Thing is, he never sent anything there. I called them and they said it has something to do with immigration/a visa. So since neither I nor him ever sent anything there I'm assuming it has something to do with CIC? But why would they contact the CRA for my boyfriend? He has nothing to do with my visa, he's not sponsoring me or requiring a visa (he's a Canadian citizen). I did however fill in his name etc. on the Forms that I sent in for the visa. Does that mean they're checking him now too? Anyone here have something similiar happening? I really don't quite understand. The guy on the phone said they're still processing the request (I don;t even know what the request is for)and it usually takes the CRA around 16-19 weeks to finish processing, which would be around end of February/middle March. So is CIC waiting for that now too? Ugh, I'm so confused and disappointment, I thought I'd get DM soon, I have been waiting almost exactly one year now. So frustrating :'(
