February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

how the things going ... wht guys think how long it gonna take for 10th feb applicants ...
i am tired of wait now ,,, its really killing me now ........

I am feb 10 too but i got medical reassessment for my spouse so it will take a bit longer for me, I guess. ??? ??? ??? ???

Hello guys,
Today I gave to call to my MP's office to know the status of my application. A lady from MP's office asked me to send a signed consent form.
I sent the form and she gave me a call after 30min with an update from CIC Ottawa. I think she is quite fast.
She told me that my file is in Sydney now and in next two months it will be transferred to Ottawa for its final processing.

My question is, many of the February applicants are getting DM and PPR, I am a march 24th applicant.
I am a bit disappointed with her answer, based on your experiences will it take 3-4 more months for getting DM on my file?

I see that some April applicants that have only been in process since december and january are getting DM or PPR.

It seams to me that feb-march applicants are kind of grouped together. Most of us got IP in august and september. One of the April applicants says that his notes show that his primary office is Ottawa while my primary office in the notes is CIO.

Do you think that this might be the reason why they skipped us? Maybe we are all being processed by the Sydney office which is slower.

Hi Laisa,

You make a very good point that "maybe we are been processed by the Sydney office which is why our (Jan+Feb. applicants) are slower". I have read that the due to the current backlog, CIC decided to redistribute some files in order to catch up. I guess this is why we are getting slower than usual response.

I want just let you know that today my application passed to DM....
I am an applicant from April 9th.

How long it will take from here to PPR? Please, don't tell me another 6 months or I will kill myself!!!

Who told you there is a queue??? How do you know that??? Do you know how CIC operates???

Hey man, I understand you are pissed off about that, but it's not my fault!
I am still asking why I passed to DM so fast when there are a lot of Jan/Feb. applicants whom are still in IP.

BTW, trust me when I say that I totally feel empathy with your frustration!

my goodness another 2months? LOL


I see at least 3 april applicants have received PPR email in January and March applicants have to wait 2 more months to be finalized!!! hahahahaha

thats true Diaboluce , I saw 2 April aplicant got PPR and 1 Dm, others getting RRPF and In-process. I don't know whats happening to March applications.
