Mine too was 60 days. But does it mean then that the officer handling the file will only revisit it after this 60 days must have elapsed - even if the document requested is delivered to CIO within a few days?
Am trying to figure out if it's the same as when you apply for work permit extension online within Canada and later you get an alert requesting you to upload additional documents within a given period. My observation is that nothing happens again on the application until the given date for uploading those documents has passed and thereafter usually within a few days, you receive another alert that your application for work permit extension has been approved.

i agree with u..most importantly, it seems they r processing the applications at sydney. I am assuming that u got the RCMP request from Sydney?

Whatever the case goes for each individual 90percent what I have seen is people who apply in the same month start getting response in the same time period. May this is because I read somewhere that cic sends names to agencies for background checks in groups. But in the casr if you are having a spouse as well in your application things are different

Hi im a newbie here :)
I applied under community identified stream in nova scotia, just wondering if somebody here who also applied under these stream. I need your help guys coz NS was asking for additional documents on " STRONG CONNECTION TO COMMUNITY" just wondering if a letter of support from a friend in NS is okey to use as a significant community connection?

Also, do i need to obtain a certification from the regulatory organization while i was still here in my country or i will just get it when i arrive in canada?

I only have 1 month to do these and i highly appreciate any advice from the seniors. :)

Everything with CIC has bearing to your FN - ie when was your case file opened? Not when they received your medicals. If your medical result is ok and timely it does help but not a determinate. Remember they will still conduct security checks on you and no telling how long this can last. So even if your medical result got to CIC within 24hrs after your tests, CIC will still use the FN as reference for operation going forward.
