Hi guys i m feb 3rd applicant already got in process status on aug 1.
Also i applied BOWP waiting for that as well.
Can i do visa stamping in my home country?
I m going for vacation.
What i need if do this in my country and how long
It will take i mean it will take more time then canada?
Pls share your suggestion.
Your helpful suggestion can save something i guess.

Yes....and you should have a number for the Xpress post tracking while you completed the transaction at the post office.

Yeah my trackin no. shows "successfully delivered" . But i read somewhere that Xpress-post should be sent to regular mail and if you are using courier address then use fedex or UPS . Any comments on that ? Is there someone who sent their documents on courier address via Xpress post and got updates? :-X

That's right. Xpresspost has to be sent on regular address and courier is for Ups, Purolator etc.
I sent them additional document(explanation that I can't provide them with PCC they requested for) by Xpresspost on regular mail. It was delivered month and half ago, still no IP.

no DM on any feb applicants?

I heard it normally takes about a month to see DM once you get into IP based on assumption that your application is completed/and no issues with medical/security/background
we should be seeing some updates on Feb applicants. Anyone has DM yet?

yeah even i thought anything with tracking number amd signature option should be sent to courier address. hope all will be fine with my docs.

Additional documents requested on 4th Sept(IMM5669)
Documents faxed to office as requested on 17th Sept.

Not in process yet.

What I do find strange is that the file is not yet in process even after sending the additional documents to them 'coz two of my friends were asked the same question and their file came in process within a week, one of them applied after I did.

Think it depends on the Case processing agent.

even i m not in process bro. sent documents on 22nd of august via mail. what is their Fax number by d way. May be i would fax a copy too. but they especially ask me to mail and not t to fax. idk wats goin on

ops, I guess I didn't answer the question, so the additional docs were delivered on August 29th and I got in process on September 22. Someone at this thread mentioned that it takes 1 month to get to the DM. I guess if I don't hear in 1 month I can start panicking!

Just write up your summary and I will upload it on the spreadsheet. I once left the spreadsheet "open" to the public but it was always messed up by someone.
