Hi guys same boat here.. Still waiting for ppr.. Checked ecas all the time but still medical received.application was received last feb 14,2014, medical april 16'15, rprf aug 20 and addtl doc too.. Called cic last friday they said our application is in process already in ottawa. Hope everything will be fine.frustrated already coz our wp will expired on april 8.

I just called the CIC call center..my file is in Ottawa already. My papers are complete and is on process. Said that They will email me shortly, and if I didnt receive any email within 2 months they said that I should call again. It'll be a long wait again.. He said to be patient because there's a large volume of application that they're processing...

Hi Everyone, I got my passport request and mu wife is in India. Is anyone has an idea about where I need to send my wife's passport and how is the process. Seems like my agent is trying to fooling me Or he has a lack of knowledge. He said he need to send a mail to Ottawa mentioning that my wife's passport need to send in India...and then Ottawa people notify candian consulate in India. after that they will send a mail to us mentioning that we are now good to send it in India....How come it's so complicated. Plz help if anyone have some idea

Regular procedure.. It specifically says on the PPR email that if you have a dependant living outside Canada, you are meant to inform CIC who will make arrangements for the visa to be given at the consulate where your dependant resides.

yes, I did this morning and CIC will receive on Wednesday

I sent my passport too yesterday, CIC will receive it on Wednesday too..

Just wandering if anyone here from SK is looking for land in couple weeks or so?

Your agent is absolutely correct. This is what you have to do. I also emailed ottawa for my spouse's visa stamping in India. Did your agent say anything about if you should wait to send your own passport before ottawa replies you or is the agent sending your passport to Ottawa now?
Please keep me posted on the visa stamping part.
