February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

We were in the same situation as CIO-NS asked for (additional info) PCC from us.

Congrats Lacuna1982 for getting IP, I sent my explanation a week ago to CIO that I can't provide with PCC.

Lets see how long they will take. Anyways what was the deadline they gave you for submitting the docs ?

I am feb applicant, feb24 application received
med done by march 24

havent heard from CPO ottawa.

i received call from governament saying that they are from QA department and gathered all my information.
Like where did i finish my masters?
when did i finish?
where am i currently working?
where do i stay ?

I never came across such thing is this for real??

People please help me, if you know anything.

Hey Billz no nothing yet for me! They requested on 15 august and it was received on august 21st i think. The deadline to submit was october 15th so im hoping maybe something will happen then when deadline has passed maybe they will get back to it.

I have the same deadline as well and thinking that CIC will review our submissions after the deadline and then proceed further.

BTW are you PNP from Alberta ?

Yeah i think so too... once the deadline comes up they will review again! No im Manitoba PNP.

@racheal178, that is rare. but has happened. I know of people turned back at the airport due to mis-representation.

This post is to everyone on this thread, specially ON PNP applicants:

People, don't panick! QA stands for Quality Assurance. In this case, ON PNP is going through a quality audit check. This is normal in big companies and most government branches working with ISO or any other standard.

If you check previous posts from December and January applicants you will see that most people are going through the same QA assessment.

They just want to make sure that the program is working and bringing 'quality material' to Canada, searching for flaws and errors at the same time in order to correct and improve ON PNP in the near future.

Nothing to be scared at this moment since you are already in the Federal process with CIC. Future ON PNP applicants should notice some changes, I believe.

Thanks Lifloo for sharing your experience. I am still not "In Process" status. I guess after the deadline pass for additional docs, I will at least get move to IP status.
