Hi sktelectric and Vicky India,

Just a quick update, I finally managed to send all documents through email. It was a bit of pain and took me about 8 days to plan and organize all my files. I sent them all in pdf format. Their office doesn't allow any attachments exceeding 5mb in total, so I had to sent them in 2 seperate emails. Now, again the waiting started.

Thanks
Hi Iuser and Vicky_India

Well, I did the same thing Iuser has done.
Two separate emails, 1- Photos and Phone history- managed only whatsapp 2- rest of the documents requested.

I didn't attach any statutory declarations.

In between My Ecas status changed to In process and they added a third line saying

" My application has been started processing on March 18th 2015 " - Weird they updated 5 months later.

May be i will pay RPRF upfront in couple of days.

Let me know If you guys hear any good news.

Cheers

Have you also send any declarations?
Yes, I send them 5 declaration letters from my friends and families. Its just a letter along with their signature, scanned and consolidated all 5 letters in 1 pdf file.

Before that, I called MP office to check whether I need to provide declaration letters, they advised me to submit it as they asked for it regardless of whether I'm married or CLP. They also said, I dont have to notarize it but just to get their signature along with their contact details.

Not sure if I did the right way, but then that's how I've done. Waiting to see their response and "Ready for Visa" email.

Thanks

Thanks for the update. Anyway even you attached , you didn't do any wrong and we didn't do any wrong either by not attaching. If they still need they will ask again. Hope we should get the PPR soon. I have not attached since I called CIC and they confirmed me that if you are not CLP then no need. So I attached mymarriage certificate again, statingt the same reason. I hope you too have scanned the photographs in a pdf file and sent them.

Lets hope for the best. Please keep each other informed.

Changing visa office might delay the process for up to 1 year. I've seen few cases. you better contact CIC.

Hi,

I called them earlier today. All they said was you have to wait until you hear back from us at this point.

Hi vicky_india,

Not yet. I called CIC yesterday to see if there is any update on my file. They checked it for me and said no notes from visa officer yet, may be wait for another 2 weeks or until September. I know they always give maximum number of days just to be on safe side, but not sure when I'm going to get PPR. Its getting frustrated every day. Do you have any idea on how long approximately this will take? When did you submitted your documents exactly? Did you hear anything from them yet?

It takes 80 calendar days to receive PR card after landing. Right now the applicant who did their landing in May they are getting their PR cards.

On the side note, I have done my landing on August 9, 2015 so we probably gonna get our cards together, and vice versa.
