Hi Guys,

I sent my PR Application package in the beginning of February and it was delivered to the Case Center in Sydney NS on February 6.

I'm wondering how long usually it takes them to start processing it? I keep checking on the website but still saying ''We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet''

Also, My WP is expiring on March 14 and I'm just done with the application package of WP Extension IMM5556 and the rest.
I know that I'm exempt from LMO this time but do you think I should make a letter which states that I made my PR application etc and attached it to the documents?

What do you think?

Then how do you check your status that "''We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet''?
AOR is Acknowledgment of Receipt (Your File no.)

Ok I've found what AOR means I haven't received anything yet from Immigration.

What I know is that they start processing document within the 4 weeks of the date they are received.

February 6 2014 is the date they received it. So, they must start processing soon i guess and send me the AOR

Ok. Thanks. I think you should receive AOR within couple of weeks. One person who filed in Early Feb. recently got AOR in 28 days.
