It's all a matter of what works best for you. If you get it early enough it might save you a lot of money to have someone overnight it. Even if it costs $50-$60 that is much cheaper than a plane ticket. I am having mine sent here to Canada if it gets to my attorney by the beginning of October. If not, I will have him mail to the USA and when I go home over Thanksgiving I will pick them up and use them to land on the way back through. GOod luck with whatever you decide!!

Yeah, I agree. Over nighting it would definitely be much better for me. The border is only a few hours by car and I can just come back through. Otherwise I would have to fly back to Florida to pick it up and come back. Status is still "Application received" so far. Either way I still have to plan on heading home just in case its another month or two before DM.

I have just got a communication informing me that due to the Nairobi Shootings by terrorists, my interview of this week has been cancelled until a later date in October 2013. I was very ready prepared for it this week but now see....... Am feeling abit low about this cancellation but anyway, everything happens for a reason. Keep me in your prayers please.

So sorry to hear that Rose but just be thankful that you will be safe. The interview wouldn't mean a thing if you got into the middle of the terrorist activity. I will be thinking about you. The interview will be here soon, keep your chin up!! Let us know what happens.

Thanks for your wonderful words of courage. Indeed it was the most realistic thing they do (cancel the interview) because so many people died, injured and others held hostages. Even some foreign diplomats died including 2 Canadian officials.... too bad & sympathize with them.
Otherwise, am hopeful that the situation calms down and peace reigns again so that normal life/business resumes.

Some inquiry - now that i have more time, can my husband (in canada) order for our GCMS notes??? or it may take long to get them? Please advise.

My notes came at exactly 30 days but I ordered the email notes. If you order today you should by end of October but that is no guarantee. It's worth a shot. When did they reschedule your interview?

I would order it. I only paid $5 and it was well worth the wait to see what was going on. Even if you get them late you can read through them. If they end up delaying longer, you should definitely have it for an interview. Good luck!!

Just an update.

Its been 23 days since PPR. No change in ecas status so far.
