Interesting, Iay
In my case, the sponsorship application status changed from Application received to Decision Made before a few days.

But when i click on the Decision Made, it says the following:
"We received your application to sponsor 'applicant's name' on February 1, 2013.
We sent you a letter on February 26, 2013 about the decision on your application.
Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

The permancent residence application status still shows the status 'Application Received' and when I click that i see the following:
We received 'applicant's name' application for permanent residence on February 1, 2013.

That's all I have there. Looks like I'll see the 'Medicals received' status update added inside the permanent residence application status.
Is that right? Any thoughts?

Yup medical received will be inside the PR application status. Just wait for couple more days, hopefully it will show up soon :)

To those who are wondering whether Mississauga can see the medical results of the principal applicant: just call the call centre and ask the agent to find out if they can see the results... :). That's how I was able to find out that my wife's results went through just fine, even though I haven't got my AOR and SA!

Hi everyone,

I finally got my sponsorship approval today :) Please update my file. Heaven heard my prayer. Hours ago, I was eating a big piece of cake just to feel a lil bit better from frustration.

I hope all goes well with you guys.

Great news! Glad this board is finally seeing some action this week!

Did anyone got their application delivered (by tracker information) before or on 2013-02-15 and has not yet received AOR?

I am beginning to get afraid. Normally I wouldn't since its too soon, but the spreadsheet show people who got their AOR already and they have sent it after me...

and we got no email....

I think you're totally fine since CPC is still processing apps received on Feb. 5.
Hang on for couple more weeks, not everyone gets AOR anyway, maybe the next thing you'll hear is already your SA.

*raising my hand* meeeeeee!!!

Our parcel arrived on 30 Jan, and still no AOR, let alone SA till now! I'm the ONLY January applicant with no AOR/SA :o

Hey all,

Stopping by as usual to see how things are going! and it seems that the day has been quite productive, the spreadsheet is looking good!
thanks Messenger / Tom for doing the updates, makes my life easier! :-) but of course, I can do it and I'll keep an eye - if I see that you haven't had the time to do it, then I'll do, but I'm happy to get a little help!

Hi,

my husband applied to sponsor me on 4th February 2013, and received an email on 26th February that he is eligible to sponsor me.
My visa office is Paris.

Please add me to the list.

Thanks,

That is very welcoming to see good news from members who got their SA.
Those who did not (including me) good luck for us to get one soon:)

I got my AOR , checking with E-cas with my UCI id and application number , no records exist for the FAM sponsorship. How does it take to show in E-CAS?

Also anyone sponsoring spouses to Quebec in this forum? Does SA take place sooner if you are from Quebec as there is no need of Option-C , T4 any other financial documents to be submitted along with the application? Quebec verifies your financial ability.

Just curious to know if anyone has more info on that.

Once again congrats happy poeple with SA.

Hi mickey! My husband is from Quebec and apparently our SA came a bit faster than others, but on the other hand we are stuck with the CSQ now. It's been around 16 days we sent and so far no news (although they say it takes 30 days)... so probably you have a point in there. My question is: do they keep our apps in CPC-M until the CSQ is processed or everything is forwarded to the respective VOs regardless... well, "my question" is an understatement... I still have plenty! I hope I could help!

Hey canard,
Thank you very much for the info.
Yes i also saw some spreadsheets where the SA comes faster than others as Quebec plays a major role in assessing your financial capability.
In Quebec immigration website , I remember seeing they marked as 20 business days for Sponsor approval(almost a month here)

As from what I read , CIC forwards your SA to the VO after CIC accepts you. It takes a month for the VO to start processing your file. In meantime CSQ will also process your file and send it across to the VO.
I read from many CSQ forum's that it is better idea to scan approval letter from MICC and send it via email to the VO processing your file(This is helpful in case letter from MICC to VO doesnt reach on time)

Good luck and keep me posted with your updates. you can PM me as well.

Thanks,
Mickey

Hi Sweden

Gary gave me access about a month ago so I kinda added a few of our friends while you were away! Let me know in case you are not available so I can assist here.
BTW some of the rows have taken colors that do not much their status. Could it be that someone used the Paint format tool? Can you kindly correct it?

Hi dina87
Welcome and congratulations

Could you kindly tell us the following so we can add all your info in the spreadsheet:

Visa Office
Medicals done
Application sent
Application received as per tracking
AOR received
SA received

Just noticed that my "process dates" on the February spreadsheet are now written down differently from others, it used to be the same with others so I don't know what happened there.. could this be fixed please. :) Thanks!
