Thank you BCGirl.. I wish you good luck on your application.. Stay patient and calm, hopefully they will issue your husband's visa soon..

Of course you could add my timeline.. My visa office didn't send me any AOR messages, so I don't know when they received our application, they waived the interview and just asked the passport. All I know is they are still doing quick evaluation even though CIC increased their processing times.

Good luck and Best wishes!!

Thank you FK22.

I guess every visa office has a different procedure for passport requests. Some of V.O's write a formal letter, some of them just send an e-mail and some of them make a direct phone call for passport requests. In India they ask passport way before, but some other offices just before they issue the PR visa. Ours took only 10 days to complete the process after their PPR. I have no idea about London about how many days, but it shouldn't be too long like 30-45 days..

Good luck!

Thanks Galip for replying...Im actually interested to know when they ask for your passport...how many days do they give you to follow up and send your passport...the problem is that I may not be in the country when the ask for passport so I wanted to know how many days I have ?? 30 days...45 days???
