gud morning guysssssss ;)

i need some information my hubby recived his PPR on 19 june
passport sent on 20 june
new delhi recived on 21 june
now my question is after the passport request they will simpky issue the visa or they will call for an interview he doesn't has any travel history.

thanks in advance

I don't think a decision to conduct an interview will be entirely based on someone's travel history. If they are going to call for an interview it could be for any reason!

Btw, when did your hubby's file got transferred to New Delhi?

Hi Indiagal,

Do not go by the processing times on the website! That is how long it takes 80% to finish. Go by the 20% if you case is simple and it can even be faster than that. 5 months or less I am sure.

hi indocan

good luck.hopefully u get ur pp with visa stamp soon.but Same goes with me.i send my pp on 4 june and still waiting to get my pp back with visa stamp.

I am starting to feel anxious about Step 2. I was really happy about the approval and when that wore off I got the AOR from Mexico. Now I want to see "in process"! All our things are in Canada including my car. The heat here is getting unbearable. I want to book our plane tickets! Ahhhh!!!

yes I know you are right...but having said that.....my aor took 3 months longer than it should have and I still don't have approval in hand so I am not setting mysefl up again.....LOL......this way if it happens faster I will be overjoyed....but for now want my approval and then I will settle in for the long haul!!!!

When it turns blue?!

You see what I see. They have your file but it is in line and they are not working on it yet. Unless they just haven't updated.

Step 1 has nothing to do with the length of Step 2 but I understand you want to prepare for the worst and hope for the best, lol. I am preparing for the best and hoping for the best. I might get pretty disappointed but I cannot help it!

I'm totally with you on the keeping my hopes low!! I had really thought that we would be looking to move up to Canada by August when we sent our paperwork back in February! Now I'm just trying to keep hope that we don't have to re-do my husbands medical that is up on December 15 ??? and I'm still not holding my breath on even that one! I mean I've had our UCI for over a week and I still can't log into it!

yes I know what you mean......the website is very quirky.....try the uci number and if it takes you to the screen say it is not showing it the go back button that the top and then delete your uci # and reenter again and submit........I also have to enter my uci twice before it comes up....strange and the same when I use the application #.........

I was hoping my husband would be here for Christmas at the latest....but at this time that would be a miracle!!! So not going to set anymore dates in my head and just pray it goes fast!!!
