Its been 8 months since I send my full documents and 7 months since I get my 2nd AOR.... London Visa office is so slow!!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting a bit worried. I have a question.. what exactly They check in background? As I am working in dubai since 6 years and we already get checked and working in this country and all the documentations are UAE based thats why i was thinking what is making them late???? what are the most of their visas excuses? what make them excuse?? I am equiring 81 marks though!!!!!!!!!!!!!! having relatives there in canada!! everything is fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why they are talking it that long as when I applied in february i was expecting in january2011 i will get my passport stamped maximum by jan2011. I did not get my Medical request yet!!! and if I got it then even after 2-3 months i will get passport request and then further 1 month. so if it works the way i stated it wil be done uptill july 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if not then deadline can be any month and year!!!!!!!!!! :)

Please Big Mike give your Openion and all other forum members do Input your experience!!!!!!!!!!

No one knows the real situation but i think before oct 2011 important for medicals and first 5 months of 2012 important for visa stamping.

Currently post 26 june 2010 are on high periority and for pre june 2010 applicants CHC London taking 24 to 28 months for the whole process till visa. :(

Currently CHC london replying us for pre june 2010 applicants like this.

reply from CHC london

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Yours sincerely,

You can opt to inquire on the status of your application to your V.O. Its a good sign however that when you get your medical request your background check can be construed as being acceptable. Just ask the V.O. if there's any additional information they would require from you to hasten the process to help you sort out things. In the 2nd AOR, I think there is a deadline on their assessment or for medical request. You can check that out and hopefully you can inquire the status given that prescriptive period.

Keep praying. God Bless

Our dates are matching.
Application date: almost near
FTD: same as yours
In Process: almost same
Hopefully our mr dates also would be near.

Yo buddy Fireworks.

But the main difference is our VOs. Urs is ND (among fastest) and mine is London (the slowest). U wud get MR earlier than me.

Dear Big Mike. in my 2nd AOR, there is no deadline for anything... that was just new file no and some instruction...

Thanks Big Mike.

Actually All the documents of mine are complete as we send it through the consultant so whatever they were asking in those days we send them across!! Though I ask my consultant to send them reminder.. But from my side I am worried as this wait is killing though I keep my self busy in work but after every 1-2 months this thing come out with same pain.. heheh!!!!!!!!!! though I am very Hopeful but still!!!!! What exactly they check in background? As Our Bank statements, IELTS, POLICE clearance certificates are original.... Do they also check with the previous companies where you work?? because sometimes companies are closed or management changes so they don't know in that particular tenure who was working in the company thats why i was worried. Though CHC must be knowing this factor also but still!!!!! Imagination can force you to think on any point!!!!!!!

If we got deadlines for 10 months and call back garentee for 6 moths. what in that case. Do they really mean it or what?

So far the things that i'm reading or hearing from the posts and friends of mine in other forums is that the CIC's limits has been capped for this year and that they are speeding things up for people who already had medicals since the medical expires in 1 year.

As far as I know.. based on the replies they get from the Visa Offices and experience/timelines on their application.

When will our Visa Stamp/PPR be received - deadline of release of your visa and its effectivity should be 1 year from your medical. So if you are nearing the 1 year-from-medical deadline, you can opt to have it rushed so as not to repeat your medical and incur add'l expense for that. They are strict on the medical test effectivity of 1 year.

When will our MR be received - most likely be waiting for the FSW cap to reset in june 2011 to continue the processing. They can delay the processing on this part since they are not bound by the 1-year expiry of your medicals. So just 1 hurdle for most of us now is the MR stage.

They are focusing their effort in reducing the backlogs from 2003-2005 applicants and Provincial Nominees.

Keep yourself busy. Dont think of the application much. Good thing is that you lodged your application and do whatever they asked from you and just wait for HIM to take that in HIS time. It will all be fine soon. Take time to enjoy/connect with your relatives you will leave behind or take a vacation on a place you've been wanting to see for a while now.

God Bless!

Thank you so much BIG MIKE for your valueable replies!!!!

Any Updates???? God Knows better when CHC-London will wake up!!!!

No News So far!!!!!!!!!!!

hi guys, just check other thread and this is what it says......

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/breaking-news-march-29-2011-t67980.60.html

Dear all,

Due to larger visa application inventories, there is a temporary hold on processing of FSW applications submitted with NOC 4131- College and Other Vocational Instructors & 0213- Computer and Information Systems Managers.

Based on June 26, 2010 priority NOCs, CHC London will continue to expedite processings of FSW Fast Track (Pre June 26, 2010) and SAP FSW applications submitted during July-October 2007 until the publishing of new priority list which may come out in late 2nd quarter of 2011.

CHC London has already been started to sending out medical instructions since March 14, 2011.

There is a concurrent processings of Islamabad FSW applications at CHC London in the same work pattern.

I hope this information is of assistance to all of you.
