I've had no success with IRCC, on phone or webform. My LPP has been in progress since April 11thApplied: 02/26/2026 | Test completed 22-June-2026. Called IRCC and got the same response yet again - LPP is in progress.
Don't we need to wait until the application reachs the estimated processing time to start contacting IRCC?

I think everybody has seen on various threads that it is possible to get an update on their application earlier. Just need to hope you get someone willing to look a bit further than the traditional scripted response.
Any update here ? Anyone waiting for Oath ceremony? Got a ghost update on August 5. Since then silence.
For me, test updated on Jun 22 as completed, and July 28th LPP in progress and no update since then

Just got my oath ceremony email. Scheduled for Oct 5 . Wishing everyone still waiting Gods speed.
Got a call from immigration on Thursday Sept 17th and asked questions like "Why did your family wait 40 years to become citizen's" Really nice guy said he would close the file that day and we should get an oath ceremony date email soon and we would be waiting another month. Received Oath email yesterday Sept 21st - Oath dates Oct 5th online that is 2 weeks. Also, tracker not updated since the test complete on Jun 30th,
Today I got citizenship interview letter (virtual interview on OCT 9th) - (applied on Feb 8, test completed on Jun 20, LPP is in progress in tracker) - for the verification of identity and original documents, check language skills if applicable, and ask about any concerns in your application.
physical presence is met and in fact it is more than 3 months than the requirements and we are in abroad now (for last 3 months) - is it ok to attend this interview outside Canada - any other concerns, experiences? Thanks very much in advance !!

But seriously why did you wait 40 years? And were you permanent/temporary residents in Canada for 40 years?
