Hi All,

By the grace of god and helpful information received from all forum members I got my visa on 24th of July-10? I am going to resign from my job soon but my fear is that does my employer create any nuisance with my visa by complaining or informing CHC New Delhi to get it cancelled as he never wants that I should leave him?

Kindly suggest?

Thanks

Hi ash_1967,

First of all congratulations to you on getting PR.

You have got your passport along with visa stamped on it. Do not worry from your employer because now he cannot do anything.

Best of luck for your bright future in Canada.

But Dear,

Leave the job smartly. You dont have to tell him anything.

But if he already knows, then handle him in a nice way. Though he cant do anything with your visa, still try not to burn bridges with him.

I am sure you can easily manage the situation. All the best!!

AND A BIG CONGRATULATION FOR YOUR VISA. HAVE A GREAT LIFE IN CANADA!!

CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing to fear. Your employer cant do anything. You have the VISA in your hand.

I would advise you to take a sick leave and go to canada and get all the necessary work done. After that inform your company about your resignation and ask for dues if any. Visa is precious, so all the very best.

You have the power!

If ur employer still does not know that u r migrating to Canada just go and meet him and ask for a heavy increment in ur salary failing which u will resign. I am sure under current conditions he will not oblige and eventually ur path is clear.

Ha Ha,,,,,,,
Good One shibuya!!!!!!! ;D

treat it as joke:

"come at 11:00 am and leave at 4:00 pm every day, think like Pentium 386 for a week or two - you will be asked to go for a sick leave" ;D

but nice comment was to attempt to maintain good relations with the employer even after you leave, I am sure there are a number of ways to do it properly.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your nice and fruitful views? But can anyone make any nuisance with the visa or pr after receiving it? Because there are so many who they have jealousy in their mind?

Thanks

OMG

what’s wrong if he knows , who can stop you to live or work where you want to do, its your future buddy
it’s my advice don’t give a chance to anyone who going to control you, that’s unbelievable man, if I were you believe me I never afraid to tell him why am leaving its my future! but if this is the case do it smartly and without any problem, just tell him am leaving for better future...

Ash
I might be wrong, but i get a strong feeling that you are not liking the work that you are currently doing and may be some relationship issues with your boss. Your visa cannot be disturbed by your employer and I dont see a reason also to leave the organization in a bad way.

Your HR will have a notice period and policy. You should talk to your boss (no need to tell about Canada if you do not want to) and give notice of resignation. Tell personal reasons and not anything related to work. You might not require them in future, but I would suggest not to strain any relationships and then carry that in your mind- because- you have a future to think about and focus on your life in Canada. While applying new jobs in Canada, what if they want a reference from past employer? What ever is the pain that your job or boss is giving you, it is okay to just forget rather than create a scenario where you also start thinking too much in future.

Good Luck- sorry to be too much advising ;)

congrats and wishing you good luck dude!!!!! :)

hi ,, i would like to suggest that you leave the work & resign smoothly without telling him anything about your plans , you may need him in future for reference or experience letter , so better to keep good relation with him goodluck
