FD as proof of funds

Hi guys,

I have a couple of questions regarding proof of funds:

1. My dad had transferred a minimal amount a couple of months back, how do I shows that in my POF
2. I have and FD, which i had intended to use as POF. but I am not sure if I can show FD as my POF
3. I have two accounts savings and salary, if I get the letters/ statements of different dates, would it work or should all be on the same date
4. In case my spouse (dependent applicant) transfers money to my account do I need a gift deed from him as well

1. You highlight that transaction in latest 6 months bank statements that you must submit along with bank certificate. You can also mention about it in LOE.
2. Yes, you can use FD confirmation receipts for POF purpose. Make sure the start and end date of FD is mentioned clearly.
3. Different dates should not be an issue. However, make sure the difference in the dates in two account statements is not more than a week or so.
4. Yes, he needs to sign a self-declaration stating that he has no objection in using this money for Canada immigration purpose.
