I agree.....I will just wait but if somebody needs to email FBI to document the delay and submit to cic, it's best they do that. The FBI also has had budget cuts as well....I can see even longer delays

To all experienced members here, it seems that you are able to track which applications are being processed by FBI by date. Can you explain how are you doing it?

I call them and calculate the date difference which can differ every day depending on the volume.....

On avg it's 77 to 80 days after the delivery date. I am tracking that on that tracker website.

On the website of FBI they have changed processing time from 8-10 weeks to 10-12 weeks. That is bad

Wish IRS would be that gracious when it comes to collecting taxes ;-).

I have sent my finger prints yesterday. But an issue is bothering me. I have filled out all the fields in the FD 258 form with blue ink. But in the last minute, without access to a blue pen, I filled out the remaining two fields which I missed earlier with black ink. So I am kind of worried about this, even though my finger prints are done with black ink. Is this some thing to be worried about??

I think you are suppose to fill everything in black ink. I would recommend to double check it. If this is true then please send a new package with explanation saying that you have applied it earlier but now you are sending everything in black ink.

Please confirm first if it is suppose to be in all black ink.

USA 5-7 calendar days.
India - depends on the postal service. anywhere between 8 days to 2 weeks.

So my Application was sent in April 15, Process completed June 28 and dispatched June 30. How long does it take to deliver? The address is in Chicago, Illinois
