FBI Timelines

Has anyone recently sent and recieved their FBI clearances?
Can you tell me your timelines, i'm getting fingerprinted tomorrow
and I want to coordinate everything

I mailed my request off on May 17 from Canada to the FBI with priority mail, and got it back July 20 at my address in Canada. Good luck!

Here's our timeline:

June 23 -- Sent to FBI via USPS
Aug 28--- Received results

And their customer service is pretty good--so feel free to follow-up after 9 weeks of waiting (if you call sooner than that, they'll tell you to call once you hit the 9th week). Check out their number at their website.

It goes back quite a few months so should give a good idea of the average timelines. For my husband he had his cert back in about 8 weeks.
