A quick clarification please. I did my Master in US and was on a Student Visa for 3 Years. Would i required to provide an FBI clearance or what will be reason when an FBI clearance is asked for

As far as my understanding , if you lived in any country for more than 6 months , you should provide the PCC
FBI clearance is the PCC for USA

Every one who lived in USA for more than 6 months needs to submit FBI clearance.
This is to check if there are any issue with criminality/security with your case

Yes, you have to provide FBI clearance as well as your home country PCC.
