Hi guys, I was HORRIFIED to have accidentally noticed, almost 2 months after receiving my FBI Identity History Summary (the one that IRCC asks for), that I put in my first name as last and my last name as first on the eDO (electronic departmental order) request! That is, say my name is Jon Snow, my PDF from FBI says Snow Jon.
When submitting the request electronically, they print "firstName lastName" as inputted in the eDO on the PDF, even though I put down my names in the correct way on the physical fingerprint card I submitted. When I first received it I didn't think too much of it, because that's how names are printed on my state's driver's license (as in, "Snow Jon", without a comma after Snow). I was procrastinating and mindlessly flipping through files and that's when I noticed on my original request that I reversed my first and last names!
I'm so mortified. Really worried since it's been 37 days since my AOR and they open the file around ~40-45 days right now according to myimmitracker.
I already put in a new request with the FBI and will be getting fingerprinted and will send the card in first thing tomorrow morning. But meanwhile, has any one encountered this problem before? How fatal is it?
