FBI Police Certificate is a black and white copy

Hello,

I submitted my profile last month with proof that I had requested the Police Certificate. The PCC arrived today but it's a black and white copy. Before I submitted my profile, I noticed that, on the police certificate section, the checklist said:

"Police certificate needs to be a scan of the original police certificate in color. Certified true copies, are unacceptable and will result in the application being rejected as incomplete"

However, another friend of mine received her PCC from the FBI and it's also a black and white copy so I guess this is how the FBI does all of them.

Anyone with experience on this?

Do not worry, FBI now sends the results in black and white. Go ahead with that.

FBI PCC use to have a blue color logo few years back. Recently i requested one and it was completely B/W, so i think its there standard format and will be accepted by CIC.

You should immediately raise a CSE for this and explain

I have reentered the express entry pool and will in the meantime raise a CSE. They take forever to reply but I will have the same problem next time too so probably worth a shot. Thanks!

Yes, it's black and white, but make sure your scan is in color. I purposefully included a background (part of the table) so that they could see that while the document is black and white, the scan is not. Worked for me!

We get US certificate through post and in a pdf version in fbi website. Is it enough if we just attach the pdf from their website?

Earlier it used to be a slow process and the PCC was sent through post only. Now you can use the PDF.

You might want to put a comment with the FBI report that the pdf is received black and white (unless it has colored logo). A picky officer rejected mine even though it was a colored scan but there was no background color like the table etc to prove it. I resubmitted with comment. No news yet.

No, It does not have a color logo. Even the logo in the back end is in black and white
