hi..does anyone here get an FBI clearance? my.husband work in US Naval Base before for 6 years.. Now he is in the Phil for more than 5years... thanks in advance for any reply and highly appreciated..

Just apply online and get your fingerprints taken by a place that regularly does this. You'll get a response within a week of receipt.

Just follow the steps under How To Submit a Request, and make sure to select the option to have it mailed to you. You'll then print out a copy of the email they send to you, take it to the fingerprinting place, have your fingerprints taken, and then mail the email printout and fingerprint card together to the FBI.

You don't even have to have the FBI request in before getting the fingerprints done. You can have your fingerprints taken on an appropriate card first, then submit the request online, mail in your fingerprint card along with payment confirmation email, and wait a few days. If you've chosen an electronic report, you'll get an email informing you your report is ready for download. Follow the steps. Very simple.
