FBI clearance tracking

Hi,

My was sent on April 28 and received on April 30th. CC not charged yet. I was told that its is still not in system and asked to call later on.
 
mine is 12april. FBI says, not on their record and take 10 weeks to get into their record.
I resend one more on 17th may. they received it.
 
I sent mine and my wife's last Saturday and it reached on 24th May. I am going to wait for 4 weeks before I ask for an update. Please add me to the list.
 
I have sent my finger prints on May 20 from Bangalore. Got the finger printing done through JK consulting in New Delhi.

Again I am insisting,you should give atleast 7-8 weeks before you check for status.there is no point in panicking unnecessarily
 
Heyy guys

seems like FBI is speeding up the process.
My application reached the FBI on the 6th of April and I got the certificate on 25th of may.
7 weeks to India.

I called them a few days before I received it and they said it was still in process, while they had already mailed it.
So don't expect any straight info from them , just give it 7-8 weeks and you should get it.

I agree with MC. 7-8 weeks seems to be the norm nowadays.
 
Folks, I just called FBI Customer service @304-625-5590. I was told that the check has been completed and the results will be mailed to me on Tuesday, June 1st.

Remember this is 11th week since I sent my request. Please wait for at least 8 weeks before you start calling FBI. And one thing - the FBI customer service representatives are very very cordial. This was my second call and both times I had same experience. The call hold time is less than five minutes.

One more hurdle crossed and now all I am waiting for is my 1st AOR. Most of other documentation is ready :)

What option should we select on the FBI record request/application for Return Mail Options from below (as given on the application form)?

1. FEDEX Account #
2. Prepaid Return Envelope (Enclosed)
3. First-Class Mail

Also, I need to send application for both my wife and myself. Should we send 02 separate applications or 2 applications in same envelope or 1 application with both names on the same?

Please help...
 
MC did they mail it to you in india and which mailing option did u pick? First class or fedex?

If you have a FedEx account number and FedEx works well wherever you live, it should be the fastest.

You can either:
a) send in 2 separate applications in the same envelope (each of you signs your cover letter and attaches payment and fingerprints).
OR
b) send in 1 application - make sure that your check covers the cost of 2 people AND that you both sign the cover letter

If you have extra fingerprint cards, you can submit up to 5 with your application for each of you to try to minimize chance of getting them rejected.
