I own a farm in India and I am a good farmer. Is it possible for me to secure a work permit on the basis of my experience in farming. What is the situation of farming jobs in Canada, I mean is there more jobs and less takers or vice versa. Also can anybody explain me the process.

If you want to secure a work permit, the first step is to find an employer willing to offer you a full time job. That employer will then have to obtain an approved LMIA (this process usually takes several months). Once the LMIA has been approved, you'll be able to apply for a work permit.

So the first step is finding an employer in Canada.
