Hi all,
I am sponsoring my mom to immigrate to Canada, my husband is the co-signer.
I have a question about the family size in IMM5768.
There is no doubt for question 7 "Total number of persions for the purpose of determining your minimum necessary income", our family size should be 3: My mom, my husband and myself.
But I don't know how to fill the family size in Question 15 for the last three consecutive years:
1. Do I count my mom into the family size?
2. My husband and I got married in July 2011. So, do I count him into the family size for the period between Jan 2011 to July 2011?

Thank you!

Yes it would be family size as of the date you submit the application (so 3) for 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Actually I have another question, which might be a problem...

I arrived in Canada in the end of 2012 sponsored by my husband. So I don't have Tax return record and documents for 2011 and 2012.

My husband, as co-signer, to sponsor my mom this time, has his NOA to prove enough income from 2011 to now to support a family with 3 people. But, Will the absence of my tax documents makes my sponsorship invalid?

Thanks...

It will be fine. You will be the sponsor, and your husband will be the co-sponsor. As long as he has all the necessary NOAs meeting the LICO amount, your app will be good to go.

Thank you so much! That's really a big relief....
