FAMILY SPONSORSHIP INLAND APPLICATION

Hi,

I applied for my wife's inland pr application on may2nd and got the file number on may 8th. I have 2 questions.

1) I am not able to link her account. Inspite of adding all the info correctly it says the application is not found.

2) She is in Canada on a visit visa. We were planning to go to the US over the weekend for a wedding by road to portland. Will there be a problem at the border when we get back? She has a multiple entry visit visa to the US and Canada. We tried calling CIC and they said my wife is not supposed to leave Canada and reside in another country. When she said it's just for 2 days the cic officer said it's upto the border security to let her back in. When we called border security they said it up to the CIC officer. We are confused...........!!!!!!!!!!

I got my email to link my application in March. Despite of entering the correct info, I wasn't able to link my application. I was finally able to link it 2 weeks later.

Most likely your application isn't entered into their system yet.

but it's mentioned if we don't link in 7 business days it will slow the PR process....

That's what they say but most ppl can't LINK it within 7 days. it did not slow my process. You should continue to try every day. There are so many posts on here about that.

This has been an issue for a very long time now
