Family sponsorship application not moving forward

Hello,
I have PR and I tried to sponsor my family who live in turkey. We have sent the health check up and biometric last year. Since then there has not been any single update. I have tried contacting my local MP office and sending emails to Ankara office.
I just wonder if anyone has such experience and what would help me at this situation.

You don't give dates or any details or whether there has been any response from eg the MP's office. So no one can tell you anything without at least some details.

In current environment, that timeline may be perfectly normal. If in addition family is from places with more security clearances needed, eg Syria or Iran, may be longer. If (guessing) they are effectively refugees in Turkey, that may also complicate things.

When did you submit the application?

Biometric and health results were sent January 2022. I was refugee when I came to Canada. I applied for sponsorship as soon as my LR was granted in November of 2021. My children are Chinese nationals living in turkey.

What is LR? Do you mean PR?

Weren't your spouse and children included in your refugee application? Did you apply for them completely separately through family class or is their PR being processed as part of your application?

This really should be posted under refugee section. As a refugee and future protected person your family should have been declared on your asylum claim and then included your PR applications. There shouldn’t be a need to submit a family sponsorship application like PRs who are not protected people.

What other citizenship have you and your family members obtained recently?
