Hi folks,

My spousal TRV was refused a few days back. In the family info form we mentioned the names of her siblings.
Now here situation is a little different. My father in law is actually married to 4 wives :-X. He has total 24 children ;D from 4 different wives. This way my spouse has 5 siblings from hers mother and rest are the siblings of hers is said to be step siblings. No doubt my father in law is real man
Is it a good idea to show them all now in 2nd attempt in order to maintain a strong home tie. any idea?

Although providing correct information for the embassy is important, so probably using an extra form to indicate all of them (and possibly a short letter which describes this in a few lines might be good), I really don't think that number of family members in Pakistan has any thing to do with home ties. Your spouse is your liability. Her assets here, possible educational or other commitments, financial situation etc. are all the factors that would define her home ties and not the number of people dependent on her father.

Rather, because her father would have so many dependents and probably you are not present here, it appears more likely to Visa officer that she intends to stay in Canada rather than coming back.

We did not show any personal assets of hers in terms of property etc. now is it a good idea to show something in 2nd attempt? Also, my mother in law is cancer patient, so if we show her treatment documents with a letter mentioning that i would return home for mother who uses to be in observation and treatment 24/7 or something like that. What would you suggest.
