Your marriage certificate: As proof of relationship to your spouse and/or to prove your spouse is a family tie to return to if s/he is not applying with you

Your parents' death certificates: Not required

Thank you for your reply. My wife and I currently live and work in different countries. She is in UAE and I'm in India.

The main reason I'm traveling to Canada is for my sister-in-law's wedding, and I have included my marriage certificate, wife's passport showing her parents' names and my sister-in-law's birth certificate in order to show Proof of Relationship. Do you think the marriage certificate is still relevant for the Family Form?

Additionally, I have inherited some properties from my parents here that will be included as proof of assets. Do you think I should provide my parents' death certificates to further clarify that these properties were inherited and now belong to me?

The marriage certificate is not relevant to the Family Information form, but it is required as part of the general list of documents you must submit i.e. relationship proof (you and your wife)

Have these properties been legally transferred/transmitted to your name?

Property ownership documents + the most recent property tax receipts must be in your name. Your parents' death certificates are not required

Yes, they have been transferred to my name. Thanks for the advice!
