Hello folks,
I applied for my parent's visitor visa without disclosing my sister on the application. At the time she was a non-dependant child over the age of 22 and was married. I had my reasons for failing to disclose and it's sort of personal.

Now I am planning for my father's visitor visa renewal and I want to get the burden of my chest by stating all facts and disclosing my sister as a child on his application. Also, with the help of a letter I shall explain them my situation and why I did what I did.

From all the sources on the Internet and IRCC's website that I have researched they have a strong opinion about not disclosing a dependant child but nothing about a non-dependant child.

I just want to know if they tag this as "Misrepresentation"?

This is not your burden but your father's beause he didn't declare it. He signed off so knew that his daughter wasn't included. There is no such thing as renewal so when he submit new application then include sister's information.
