Fail in one subject

Hi, i have two years of study enrolled that will be completed in dec 2019. In my current second semester i got fail in one subject. I will retake it in third semester . I am wondering if it will make any impact down the road i.e. to apply for work permit and permanent residency in any way.

Please advise what are the rules

There's no immigration impact for failing a subject as long as you get your degree. IRCC doesn't care
