Factors affecting processing times?????

Folks,

The medical request from CIC has been slightly random in last few days
Few Aug , Sep applicant already have medical request, where as many from May , June , July still waiting.

So wondering if there are factors which may affect the processing times

1. Single or Family (If Family , are both working?).
2. Particular NOC code may have many applicants and may be very common.
3. Country of Origin
4. No of countries traveled
5. Employment details missing or ambiguous
6. If family, Does is it positively help if both husband and wife are working in Canada? than single working? does it matter

Any thoughts on these?
