Hi.Can someone help me figure out why my study permit was denied twice now and the same reasons they gave me was:
1.Immigration status in country of residence( I am a student in USA)
2.Purpose of visit( wants to transfer to Canada).
3. History of accumulation
Can someone explain this to me. Should I apply in the country where I was born?

Thank you

You need to demonstrate ties to be approved and also show you have no plans to remain in Canada long term. This is difficult to do when you are living in a country other than your country of citizenship and only have temporary status there. What evidence did you provide to show ties outside of Canada?

Do you have a good reason why you aren't finishing your studies in the US and are transferring to Canada? Transferring like this may have CIC concerned you aren't a genuine student who is committed to their studies and are really just looking for a way to immigrate to North America.

I showed that my parents have companies so that I need to go back to my country to take care of them after. Should I show something else? I am actually planning to go back to my country of citizenship maybe I am likely to get a visa. I am transferring there because my brother lives there but he's an international student..What should I do?

What are you currently studying in the US and what were you planning on studying in Canada?

When I, as an immigration officer, look at your file, I'd see that you only wanna transfer to Canada because of easier immigration pathways now that the scenario in the US is a bit uncertain. So I'm gonna reject your application for sure

So you need to give a very compelling reason as to why you want to study at that particular university in Canada in that course. It can't be generic BS like "That course is really good or reputed" because everyone can see through it

It has to be something like particular research with particular professor, that you can ONLY have access to that Canadian university and that's why you want to transfer.

You can't bullshit your way into this because whatever story you tell has to be detailed and make sense. It should fit logically with your past history and your future plans

Is that why one of the reasons my application was rejected was " purpose of visit"? Is it going to change something if I go to my country of citizenship, rewrite my letter saying why I want to study in Canada in that particular college?

Howb does talking about the professors can help me? They might think that in USA they also have better professors than in Canada
