You don't need to delete it, I did not under the same circumstances. I got my 25 point increase for completing 2 years work experience on March 1, when I actually completed 2 years on April 14. It seems confusing but that's how CIC assigns the points. If you get an ITA you should go ahead and apply since there is no mistake on your part, your info is all correct.

If you look in your under the score categories, you will see the points assigned to your work experience is now 50 instead of 25.

Please do not do this OP.

While it is the system's fault it is each and every person's responsibility to declare the right amount of work experience. If receive an ITA before February 2017 and claim those points your application will get rejected if you're below the cutoff score without them. People have been rejected before for this.

Wait until you have those 2 years of work experience.

I did report technical glitch to CIC. Hope to get some good response. Time being I deleted my current experience so that I can get back my old score.

If he changes the start date and gets an ITA it's also a problem, because his reference letter will state a different date.

Simply decline the ITA until you reach the 2 years unless 1 year calculated score is higher than the actual cut-off score. Unfortunately I had to do the same. It's not your fault, it's the system's mistake.

And please, don't listen to those who try to convince you that is safe to keep the ITA until you reach 2 years. It's absolutely wrong and leads to rejection.

Hello Experts,

I have question regarding my work history in canada:

My first job started in September 2013-October 2013( 1 month)
I got permanent job in November 2013- September 2016 ( 2 yr, 10 month)

I got points for 3 year work experience in my profile. Do both the jobs are under same NOC code. Do I accept the invitation based on 3 yr experience if i get an ITA?

Thanks

If you didn't reach the complete 3 years (full-time) you should calculate with two years only. What are the exact dates?

This is not a glitch. The system has been doing this for the longest time.

As per Avisad:

"If you get an ITA, you can apply. Period.

The only exception to that would occur if you got points 'in advance' as you indicated in your previous message. In such cases, one has to wait until one is eligible to claim those points and then submit the post ITA application. One need NOT decline the ITA received based on legitimate and accurate information provided in one's application. This shouldn't be a challenge anymore as one has up to 90 days for application submission after receiving an ITA.

What that means in your specific case is that even if you get an ITA anytime before completing 2 years of work experience, you need not decline that ITA but wait until you complete 2 years at work before submitting your post ITA application. You can also choose to add a note in the LOE to highlight this reason for the 'relative delay' in application submission.

All the best!"

Much Thanks for Reply ,
how many days do you have to respond to the invitation before it gets invalid? 90 days?
