Extention of Deadline on Notes (GCMS.CAIPS, ATIP) Requests in 2020

Have you requested notes of your citizenship grant lately (2020 or late 2019)?

How did it go? As expected?

Or have you received communications extending the regular 30 days deadline on whatever grounds?

I wonder what your experiences were because it is said that COVID has caused an increase in delays and even before the pandemic the IRCC was already being investigated for abusing of the possibility of the said extensions:

Hi,
I had requested my gcms notes on Jun 29 and received it today via email.

Frankly speaking I wasn't expecting it this soon as I too had read about the disclaimer of the extended deadline before requesting the notes on the website.

Pretty impressed I must say and makes me believe the internal works at all the govt. offices/departments have picked up speed.
