Extension visa to qualify for common law

Hello, did anyone request for visitor visa extension to qualify for common law? Pls share your experience. Thank you

Generally speaking, if you say in your extension application that you are requesting the extension to become common law - approval is pretty much guaranteed.

Thank you, im wondering how many months i need to request? I arrived last may 2017.

Please help. I understand that visitor visa extension must be submitted 30 days before the visa expires, is it ok to start the application now online and just submit it a month before. Thank you

IRCC recommends applying 30 days ahead of time but it is not a requirement. You can apply up until your tats expires.
