what if my work permit is valid only for 3,5 months. Will it be an issue to apply for bridging work permit, cause it says, that current work permit has to be within 4 months to expire date?

3.5 months is still within 4 months. 0<3.5<4.

The document says that your work permit has to be due to expire, not expire in exactly 4 months.
As long as your current work permit expires in less than 4 months, you're fine.

Sorry guys maybe it's easy for you, but I have no idea how to apply for that extension work permit.
I found that form IMM5710 online, but it asks me questions, that I don't know answers. Like I am applying for: A work permit with a same employer or restoration of your status as a worker ???
What type of work permit are you applying for? ???
And they ask me for labor market opinion number, but I am applying not with it I am applying with just PR file number for extension.
And what should I put for duration of expected employment. I am already working for almost two years and willing to work there till ........
Please help

NOT restoration - that would mean your permit has already expired, which would make you ineligible for the BOWP.

Choose either extend with same employer, or initial/new employer. Doesn't matter, whichever is true.

Open Work Permit

"Not applicable."

You don't need to give details of your prospective employer. Instead you can write "Bridging open work permit - Not applicable". Or you can give details if you chose, and invent a date 2 years (or whatever) into the future...

You are right, the form is not designed for BOWP applicants, but if you (1) do the online application (there's an initial questionnaire where you can indicate that you are applying for a BOWP and that you have received a "positive eligibility decision"), and (2) search this forum for the dozens of posts on applying for the BOWP, you'll do OK...

Firstly, make sure you are using the instructions at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp

A BOWP application is basically just an application from within Canada for an open work permit, with a letter that explains why you are eligible for the open permit (i.e. you are an applicant for permanent residence meeting the conditions in OB485A).

And yes, as noted - the IMM5710 form is used for all kinds of work permit applications from within Canada, not just the BOWP. So some of the questions on that form do not apply to you.

But I can't find where can i upload it. When i try to upload that document it says its only for outside canada application.
And one more thing i don't now if I can add to additional scanned documents to that application, I didn't have enough fields for employment history so i have to fill it out in new pages, print it and scan it.
Do I do it right. And what about my passport scanning immigration wants one document. I have no idea how 2 or more scanned documents make as one file.
Please help, people. I am frustrated and feeling dumb

I need the answer to this, too. I am just applying to extend a work permit, and was trying to do this online. I know that this thread is about the BOWP, but I can't find this info anywhere else - can I just print out the documents and then scan them in and upload that document? It seems you can't just add a page to the form within Adobe because it's secured.

Otherwise, I guess the answer is that I need to print it all out and mail the app?
