Upfront
Hi all! I am very sorry if this topic has been beaten to death but I tried searching and couldn't find the answer and I hope this is in the correct sub-forum.

I'm a US citizen married to a Canadian citizen. We're both in BC planning on filing an Outland App (VERY SOON) for PR. I'd like to extend my stay/stay there while that goes through and my 30 days prior to my 6 month visitor visa expiration is 25/07/16.

The questions I have are:
1. I arrived at a land border and did not get a stamp upon entry. How do I provide current status in Canada?
EDITED: Is Application for a Verification of Status (VOS) or Replacement of an Immigration Document (IMM 5545) necessary?

2. I'm to select Extension of my temporary status correct?

3. Under Current Country of Residence, I listed my last entry date as the FROM. What date value should I put for TO? I was told 6 months from date of visa expiry. I also saw some asking for 12 months for the PR app on this forum. Is this where that applies?

4. Under Contact Info, Canada is the default so I assume I will just put our residential address here?

5. Under Details of Visit, it asks for indication of how long I planned on staying. What date values should I list for FROM and TO here? Again, I was told 6 months from date of visa expiry. I also saw some asking for 12 months for the PR app on this forum. Is this where that applies?

6. Last one I swear, as I cannot work here, I put Unemployed under Employment. What date values should I place for TO?

Thank you so much in advance for your knowledge and experience. Any input would help greatly and is much appreciated. :D

Hi

1. Many Americans don't get a stamp. You don't need to apply for anything else. Just put your entry date and a little note stating that you didn't receive a stamp.

2. Yes, extension of temporary resident status.

3. Put the date your current stay expires.

4. Yes, use your Canadian address in the app.

5. Yes, you can ask for a longer stay here. Include a letter of explanation that you are applying for PR and include proof of the PR app.

6. Put the date you sign the app.
