Extension of post graduate work permit at POE

Hi

I got the PGWP which is valid only for 6 months since my passport is expiring in the period. Now I have a newly renewed passport. Can I go to the port of entry (POE) and extend my PGWP?
: On my current PGWP document it says " This permit can be renewed upon the renewal of the old passport"

You have to submit a new application to get the document renewed.

Yea you can go to the border and have your PGWP extended. This would be the fastest route.
