Extending Visit Visa after 6 months for my Parents

Hello,

My Mother has been landed Canada as a visitor last April 2018. She got visa for 5 years multiple. Since its visitor she can't stay more then 6 month. Before 6 month, I applied for extension for next 6 month at the month August 2018. But she didn't received any response either online or any snail mail.

Now, My mother is planning to return back. Can any one tell me what can I do ?

Did you email IRCC? Or call the call centre agent to ask about the status?

Email IRCC to let them know that she is going back to her home country. If possible, include the ticket bookings

Well, I tried 3 times to call but didn't work, but no idea where to email... any idea what can I do now?

I applied paper based... and drop it by myself at Edmonton office drop-box. I applied before 1 month but now 3 months have passed still no update. I am upset regarding cic activities.

The same me. I applied paper on Oct 25. But they just are processing. I just linked to my GCkey account on Jan 30. So long ...

Don't do anything. She is on implied status at the moment until she gets a decision. After her extension is approved, you will know how long IRCC has allowed her to stay.

You can then decide whether or not another application to extend her stay is required. It's not advisable to mention that you're pregnant and need your mom to take care of you/your baby

I am facing the same problem... My mother has 5 years multiple visit visa.. applied October 25, 2018 ( before one month) still no reply from cic. I tried to call and send email but no response. Now it is time to return back. No idea what to do now.

You must email IRCC if your mom will be returning to her home country before she gets a decision

Yes, I emailed last month even last week.
No response.. even I called cic after waiting 30 mins call has been drooped.

She can still leave. You just have to notify CIC that she has left and when.
