Extending Studies ?

Hope everyone is well,

I have a question regarding extending my studies. I am PGWP holder with only some time left. I am stuck at 441, maxed out everywhere.

So, I am planning to apply for a study permit and get some education which will increase my points.

So coming to the question. Can I pick any stream for my education or does it have to be same as I did in past ( Mechanical Engg ) ?

I have done 2 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg. So, if I pick up another year of education, would it be considered as :

1. 2 diploma; 1 completed at 2 year and 1 at year ?

or

2. 3 years of Post secondary education ?


Any help will be highly appreciated

1. u need one diploma at least with 3 yrs. otherwise it cannot be considered as two diploma

2. it depends. if another three-year program can accept ur previous one and agree with transferring the credits, then it may only take u one year to get a 3 yr diploma.

What if I pick completely different stream and get a Diploma in that.. For example, I do electrical diploma 1 year course.... Would I be eligible for " 3 years of Post Secondary education " points ?

I don't think it will be eligible for 3 yr diploma.
Based on the previous drawings, ur CRS is very close to ITA.
What's ur CLB level?
How much work experience have u earned?

IELTS is maxed out... All of them are CLB 10 or more

2 years of Experience.. Only thing is I have 2 years of education...

I see. so u cannot earn another year of qualified experience before ur permit getting expired?
