Extending PGWP

Hi experts,

I am currently in Canada on a PGWP(2 years), and was approved for it until my Passport's date of expiry. I have now renewed my Passport and wanted to get my PGWP extended as I was entitled for 3 years. And now when I try to apply it online, after filling up the questionnaire, it says -

Temporary Resident Visa
You will need a temporary resident visa to return to Canada.
If you are working or studying in Canada, your temporary resident visa may expire at the same time as your work or study permit. If your work or study permit is expiring soon, please renew your study or work permit first. Once your study or work permit is approved, you may apply for your temporary resident visa.


My query is, How and where will I be able to get the Application to extend my Permit? As of now the portal only provides me - IMM5257 application to fill, which titles - Temporary Resident Visa (made outside canada) .

Hope to get an answer :)

Hey, Thank you.

I did refer back to some old posts on this forum and applied it online using the same Application form I used for the PGWP the first time, and added an LOE.
Submitted on May 13, 2021 and still waiting for the response. Will updated as soon as I hear from them. :)
