Hey guys, I was an international student, and my spouse in on open work permit. I applied for the PGWP and extension for my spouse's open work permit 2 months ago. We have OHIP because of my spouse's job which will be expired on July 30th and as we are still waiting for our new work permits, I went to the service Ontario today to extend the OHIP cards with the temporary work permit extensions that we have (until September 2nd) but the lady told us that we will be without any health coverage after the July 30th until we receive the new work permits! So how is this fair? Because it's CIC's fault that we still haven't received the PGWP and OWP extension! Is there anyway that we can extend the OHIP?
