Extending OHIP based on BOWP

If i have applied for BOWP recently, can i extend my OHIP based on that? If so, how long will it be renewed for? TIA

You should be able to extend your OHIP once you receive your work permit document. It'll be extended until the expiry date of the permit. BOWPs are generally granted for one year.

Do i have to wait until i get BOWP or can i apply to extend OHIP if i have the AOR for BOWP?

The BOWP needs to be approved, and you need to receive a physical copy of the work permit before you can extend OHIP.
