extend work permit ,fill in 5710e. a question about criminal offence and Administrative detention

Hi everyone,

I‘m extending my work permit.
There is a question in 5710e：Have you ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with, or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?

I am not sure I should choose "yes" or "no". I think I didn't understand this problem.
I was administratively detained for political reasons. The “Administrative detention” is not a criminal offence.

When PR application , there is a question in 5669e：6(j) been detained，incarcerated or put in jail?
I choose yes and provide a detail reason.

So I‘m very confuse. Thank you very much for your reply.

I would suggest you fill in the same thing you filled for your PR application. Fill yes but also give a detailed explanation. I'm sure it'll be fine.

Much safer to say yes with an explanation.
